Ten Strategic Objectives

What the Dialogue is mandated to achieve — from shared priorities and data exchange to bankable pipelines and a permanent platform.

Mandated by CAP-SDI Charter
  1. Strengthen Regional Dialogue on SDG Implementation

Elevate high-level and technical dialogue on the Sustainable Development Goals, aligning national targets with cross-border collective action.

  2. Identify Shared Development Priorities

Pinpoint transboundary priorities requiring regional coordination that cannot be effectively solved by any single nation independently.

  3. Facilitate Knowledge, Policy & Data Exchange

Create trusted channels for exchanging policies, statistical datasets, scientific findings, and proven development solutions among participating countries.

  4. Explore Regional Investment, Blended Finance & PPPs

Mobilize development finance, green bonds, private impact capital, and public-private partnerships for regional infrastructure and resilience.

  5. Empower Youth, Entrepreneurs, Academia & Civil Society

Position young changemakers, tech founders, academic researchers, and grassroots NGOs at the heart of regional sustainable transformation.

  6. Promote Cooperation on Water, Climate & Food Security

Advance shared cryosphere and river basin protection, climate adaptation, disaster risk reduction, and climate-smart agricultural systems.

  7. Harness Digital Transformation & Responsible AI

Deploy interoperable digital public infrastructure, ethical artificial intelligence, and regional data observatories for accelerated SDG implementation.

  8. Establish a Regional SDG Monitoring & Action Framework

Design a regional set of priority indicators complementing national statistical systems and Voluntary National Review (VNR) processes.

  9. Identify Cross-Border Projects & Investment Pipelines

Structure bankable transboundary project pipelines across renewable energy, digital corridors, logistics, and ecosystem restoration.

  10. Establish a Continuing Long-Term Platform

Institutionalize annual multi-stakeholder dialogues, research publications, task forces, and permanent regional implementation mechanisms.
